Sorry, it has been so long! I hope this chapter was worth the wait. I had a lot of school and I was very confused as to what to do next in this.
Again, I hope this was worth the wait. Please do send me feedback? :)

“Hey, Sergio.” Fernando smiled kindly as he sat beside Sergio. “You seem really sad.”
Whatever response Fernando was expecting, he certainly was not expecting this.
“Listen, Fernando. You and I should stay away from each other for a while, okay?” Growled Sergio. “I don’t want to communicate with you. Give me some time.”
Fernando felt a pang in his heart. He exhaled slowly and nodded. “Whatever you want, Sese.” He said sadly. Then he whispered, more to himself, “I hope you get over her soon…”
Sergio turned towards him immediately, putting the newspaper down. “You know about her? Who told you?”
Startled, Fernando frowned, shaking nervously. “Is it necessary you know?”
“Well,” Sergio said slowly, “tell me, at least, what they told you.”
Fernando blushed.
“I know now why I woke up beside you on the bed in female pajamas…” He murmured. “Apparently we were in a relationship together, and you really loved Fernanda.”
Sergio said nothing, only looking straight into Fernando’s eyes. He adjusted his position on the seat and leaned forward towards Fernando. He cocked his head to the side a bit, and narrowed his eyes. “Continue,” he whispered at last.
Fernando shook his head, blushing even more. “Sergio, answer me honestly.”
“Only if you answer my question as well.”
Fernando nodded. “Sergio, if…” he inhaled, and gulped nervously, “if you got to choose between keeping Fernanda, and keeping me.. Who would you choose?”
The question clearly caught Sergio off guard.
“I love her.” Was Sergio’s quiet response.
Fernando nodded again, rubbing his temple. “She loved you too…”
“I know she did. I…” Sergio sat back against the chair. “It’s hard to find a friend as great as you, Nando.” He said honestly. “But it is harder to find someone to love like I loved Fernanda, and she loved me.”
“She loved you more than anything.”
“In her life there was nothing but me,” replied Sergio. “The anything you speak of… She never got a chance to see the world and all the other things in it. I was the only one there for her.” His eyes saddened. “I fear that if she had stayed, and gotten to know the world a lot more, she would have left me.”
Fernando held his hand. “She wouldn’t have. She is me, isn’t she? And I know that if a person stayed by my side ever since I could remember, I would not trade them for thirty other souls if I had to.”
Sergio smiled softly. “I was never a romantic guy. You know that.”
Fernando chuckled. “But you were very romantic with Nanda.”
“I was. It’s because I had never actually understood the word love before. With her, I didn’t feel obligated to be romantic. I just found myself being romantic.” Admitted Sergio. “Other girls, I felt like I had to get them a rose for them to not get angry with me. Fernanda? If I didn’t get her a rose, I would hate myself from inside and out, while she probably would not worry at the least. She knows my love is not counted by the roses I give her, because there are not enough roses in the world.”
Fernando’s heart raced. “You never said such poetic lines either.”
Sergio stood up. “She changed me, Fernando. She really did.” He ran a hand through his hair. “I only knew her for a couple of weeks, but I feel like I can’t continue life without her.” He looked at Fernando again. “I don’t know.”
“You don’t know what?”
“The answer to your question. Whether I want you or her.” Replied Sergio sharply. “You should not be hurt either way, because you’re the same person.”
Fernando looked away.

“If none of you told Fernando, then who did?” Sergio asked, almost yelling. He had asked everyone, including Del Bosque, to gather when Fernando went to the store. He wanted to know who had told him.
Iker shrugged. “None of our girlfriends did, either.” He turned to Sara, who nodded. “None of us are stupid enough to tell him, Sergio.”
Sergio groaned, holding his head in his hands. “Then how did he know?”
“What did he ask you?” Wondered Iniesta.
Sergio sat down, tapping at the table impatiently, hair messy. “He asked if I would rather him or Fernanda.”
A small gasp sounded, and they all turned to Daniella Semaan. “There is only one way he could have known.”
“Speak up, already.” Growled Sergio impatiently, pleading in his eyes.
“Fernando remembers everything from the time he was Fernanda.”
The room was silent.
Sergio stood up. “I will go look for him.”
———-
“Sora?” Called Fernando. “Come out, I’m in the same, abandoned alley. No one will see you.”
He waited another thirty minutes.
Suddenly, someone tapped at his shoulder. He turned around, and it was Sora. He sighed in relief. “Sora, you’re here.”
Sora nodded. “I gave you the chance to change. It’s your choice now to decide between whichever life you want.”
Fernando furrowed his eyebrows. “Isn’t it too early for me to decide?”
Sora sighed. She held a cup in her hands. A big, metal one. “Look into it. This is your future if you stay as Fernando.”
Fernando saw himself with a beautiful woman. He had a tattoo on his arm, saying “Olalla”. There was also one of “Nora” and “Leo”, and one in a language she couldn’t read. There was a date in roman numerals on his shin.
He kissed the woman. “Olalla, I’m so glad you are my wife.” He heard himself say, voice dripping with happiness. “We have the most beautiful kids, Nora and Leo. Look at them.” He held her hand and they looked at their two kids, running around and yelling.
“I love you, Nando. I love you more than anything.” She whispered.
“And I love you.” Fernando smiled. He had the perfect family and life.
Fernando’s eyes snapped into focus once more as the cup cleared. Sora smiled. “You can choose to have a future with Olalla, who, let me tell you, you have seen before many times. Or, you can have this fate…”
Fernando looked into the cup again.
Sergio held her hand as they walked in a park. He had a lot more tattoos. He looked even more handsome, and Fernando (now Fernanda) lay her head on his shoulder. “Sergio,” she murmured.
“Yeah?”
“I think Leo looks more like me than you.”
Sergio chuckled. “Nora looks a lot like you, but she has my eyes and cheeks. Leo is a replica of your old, male, self.”
“He will be handsome, and she will be beautiful. They already are.”
“Mama! Nora took my toy!” Fernanda looked to her left to see a crying Leo. Sergio left her grip and picked his son, Leo Ramos, up. Leo immediately grinned and hugged his father. Nora Ramos came running a minute later, with Leo’s toy hidden behind her back. Fernanda smiled. She had a perfect family and life.
